The Katadyn BeFree Activated Carbon Bottle is a 700 ml drink bottle with a built-in two-stage filter. The first stage is a 0.1-micron hollow-fibre EZ-Clean Membrane™ that removes bacteria, protozoa and microplastics. The second stage is a replaceable activated carbon cartridge that reduces chlorine, odour and turbidity — improving taste whether you're filling from a tap, a fountain, a stream or a river.
The membrane is rated for up to 1,000 litres and the activated carbon cartridge for up to 200 litres, so the carbon can be refreshed for taste without replacing the whole filter. Cleaning the membrane is tool-free — shake or swish in clean water to clear debris. No backflushing kit, no syringe, no spare parts to carry.
Made from Bisphenol A (BPA)- and polyvinyl chloride (PVC)-free polypropylene, with a rugged handle for clipping to a pack and a flip cap that seals the mouthpiece between sips.
